Steven Giovannetti

Steve Giovannetti, the CTO of Hub City Media, is a veteran of the Information Technology space since 1988. He created commercial applications based on Internet technologies in early 1995. A specialist in the analysis, design and implementation of distributed multi-tier applications, Steve has applied these skills to the successful implementation of large-scale website infrastructure, trading systems, financial systems, and identity management systems.

Steve joined Bloomberg Financial Markets in 1997, leading the team to build the new Bloomberg.com website. Steve played a critical role developing new software to support the rapid growth in traffic of the site and infrastructure to support the variety of applications required for a modern financial information and news web destination.

Drawing upon these years of experience, Steve founded Hub City Media, Inc. in 1999. Since founding the company, he has been instrumental in many key successes. Steve led a team to build financial systems for home loan processing, equity trading, financial simulation, and large consumer facing web sites.

Steve got involved in Identity Management Systems in 2002 and has architected many solutions for our customers. These include consolidated directory, access management, and identity administration systems. He is often engaged by Sun to assist in the sale, implementation and sometimes even re-architecture of some of the largest Identity Projects in the country. Steve continues to set the technical direction of the company and is currently leading the charge toward Role Based Access Control and GRC.
